Since Memorial Day is steadily approaching, IHP felt it sensible to highlight some Jersey Shore towns as people start flocking to the beach as the warmer weather gets nicer.

Scotch Plains, New Jersey
Scotch Plains in Union County, New Jersey, is a beautiful town in Central Jersey along the Route 22 corridor. It is home to Ash Brook Golf Course, which is right on the border of North Edison, NJ, Shackamaxon Country Club on the border of Westfield, NJ, and the Watchung Reservation, just north of Route 22. It is highly convenient, with access to trains along South Ave (Route 28), The Garden State Parkway to the east, I287 & I95 to the south, and I78 to the north. There are homes of all types in Scotch Plains. If you have the bankroll, you can find a simple cape, colonial, split-level, or multi-million dollar house with tons of space.

Millstone, New Jersey
This town is located in the south west corner of lower Monmouth County. You can find many properties here with lots of acreage and lots of privacy. Millstone NJ is known for lower taxes compared to other townships in Monmouth county as homes typically have SEPTIC waste water systems and WELL WATER. This is not tied into public infrastructures thus keeping taxes low. This township is not densely populated so you can expect to have a lot of land if you move here. You are centrally located with Route 33 to the north, I195 to the south, I95 to the west and route 1&9 to the east. While there aren't a ton of things to do in town you can still find a number to eat or participate in an activity.
Eatontown, New Jersey
Eatontown NJ is a town of roughly 15,000 located in Monmouth County NJ. It is conveniently located in close proximity of the Garden State Parkway as well as Route 18, Route 35 & Route 36. You are roughly 15 to 20 minutes away from the beach, & about 10 minutes from Monmouth race track. There are quite a few places to eat, many of which are located on Route 35 or Route 36. There are also quite a few shopping options in town as well.
Bloomfield, New Jersey
Bloomfield, NJ, is a township in Essex County in Northern New Jersey. It is conveniently situated right along the Garden State Parkway near I280 and Route 3. Bloomfield Ave runs South East and North West, which takes you right into Newark, NJ. NJ Transit has two train stops in town, Watsessing Station and Bloomfield Ave. There are numerous places to eat, drink and spend leisure time. In addition to places to eat and drink, Bloomfield has several parks, including Brookdale Park, located in the Brookdale section of town.
